Welcome Tavish, Lindsey, and Nina!

We’re thrilled to welcome three new additions to the reddit team. In the time-tested reddit tradition, we ask that each of them introduce themselves to you in their own words:

Tavish (/u/Acidtwist), design & product
Hello all, a pleasure to be here at reddit. Now living in SF by way of NYC and Montreal, I'm originally from snowy Winnipeg in central Canada, where I first discovered pixels and developed a fascination with the Internet. That led me into the fields of interaction and interface design, where I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from Amon Tobin to Google. I'm also an illustrator and have contributed art direction to games, most recently Tank Nation for the iPad. Here at reddit I'm designing fun new ways for people to discover reddit on mobile and helping to support our community of mobile developers. If you're curious, you can find some of my work on Cargo and Behance. I'll be lurking over in /r/ShowerThoughts and getting inspiration from /r/FUI and /r/typography. Cheers!

Lindsey Dorn, (/u/notalindsay), San Francisco office manager
Hello reddit! I'm Lindsey, the new office manager of our San Francisco headquarters. When I'm not busy keeping the reddit office and its inhabitants shiny and happy, I volunteer at the local science museum. Some of my favorite subreddits include /r/MapPorn, /r/printSF, and /r/geology.

Nina Zakharenko, (/u/nnja), senior programmer
Hi internet! I'm a long-time redditor (4 year club — woohoo!) and a redditgifts participant since 2011. I'm joining the team as a full-stack developer, writing python and javascript. I was originally born in Ukraine but spent most of my life in Brooklyn, NY. Last year, I packed my bags and moved to Park City, UT when I realized my love of mountains far outweighed my love of skyscrapers. In my spare time, you'll probably find me outside snowboarding, skiing, biking, or climbing. Random fun facts: I've been programming since I was 12, and I speak fluent Russian. You'll mostly find me lurking around /r/snowboarding, /r/programming, and /r/saltlakecity.

We have openings! Check out /r/redditjobs and redditgifts.com/jobs for the latest. If you’re looking for a job in general (not just reddit), consider reading our best practice feedback based on the resumes we’ve received in the past.

None of this is possible without the support of you, the reddit community. Thank you for supporting reddit through your time, gold and advertising purchases, shopping on redditgifts Marketplace, and participation in redditgifts exchanges.

PEACE OUT! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
